Proud Sister

My little brother, David, entered the MTC (missionary training center) today. Starting this morning, he will be serving two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After a few weeks of training and learning Spanish, he will be teaching the restored gospel to the people of Tegucigalpa, Honduras (and surrounding areas).

Her Smile, Her Smile

Alyssa is very camera shy when it comes to her smile. After days of trying, this stealth photo over Mark's shoulder is the best I've got. She has such a big beautiful smile. I wish she wouldn't stop as soon as the big scary black camera (or phone or any photo equipment) comes out...

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! We had a lot of fun at grandma and grandpa Broadbent's, playing with cousins, sleeping, singing, eating, opening presents, being held... It was a great first Christmas.
